The man heading up development of the new Humber Cultural Hub at Humber College's Lakeshore Campus in Toronto says sustainability is a core principal for the project, which targets LEED Platinum and Zero-Carbon Building and Design Standards certifications.

Roswell Textiles' greener biopolymer filters

Roswell Textiles, a Calgary-based fabric manufacturer, has launched a plant-based biopolymer named ECOFUSE as a greener alternative for filters and masks traditionally made out of plastic. ECOFUSE is said to cut greenhouse gas emissions and be compostable.
