In an effort to diversify its electric power mix, Hydro-Quebec is asking producers to build solar power facilities. The provincial utility wants to develop 3,000 megawatts (MW) of solar energy by encouraging new farms to be built by 2035.
Bankrupt electric bus maker Lion Electric Co. will live on after a Quebec judge approved its sale to a consortium of Quebec-based investors. The consortium is led by company director Pierre Wilkie and Mach Group president Vincent Chiara.
