Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and Microsoft are among the first buyers of carbon removal credits from Montreal-based Deep Sky, paying to remove 10,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

Boralex reports Q3 operating income of $7M

Montreal-based Boralex Inc. (BLX-T) reported operating income of $7 million for Q3, down $6 million from Q3 2023. Net cash outflows related to operating activities for Q3 were $184 million, compared to inflows of $1 million in Q3 2023.

Next Hydrogen reports Q3 results

Mississauga-based Next Hydrogen Corp (NXH-X) reported revenue of $120,407 for Q3. Net loss and comprehensive loss for the quarter was $3.9 million. Cash balance as of Sept. 30 was $3.2 million.

Cable failure behind Q3 loss for Northland Power

Northland Power Inc. (NPI-T) "third quarter results were negatively impacted by the Gemini cable outage and lower offshore wind production," interim president and CEO John Brace said. Net loss for Q3 was $191 million. Sales decreased to $491 million.

Anaergia quarterly revenue decreases 15% year-over-year

Burlington, Ont.-based Anaergia Inc. (ANRG-T) reported Q3 revenue of $29 million, 15 per cent lower than Q3 2023. Net loss for the quarter was $15.6 million, compared to $30.6 million in Q3 2023.

HydroGraph appoints Kjirstin Breure as new CEO
