HPQ Silicon Inc. (HPQ-X) has announced the commissioning of its Fumed Silica Reactor pilot facility, putting the Montreal company one step closer to commercializing the technology that produces silica with half as many greenhouse gas emissions.
The Montreal Port Authority has reached an important milestone in its efforts to become carbon neutral. The port’s events and cruise terminal — known as the Grand Quay — is now 100 per cent powered by renewable energy, specifically renewable natural gas.
