St. John’s-based Triple Point Resources Ltd. is proposing development of clean energy and hydrogen storage in a salt dome located in Newfoundland and Labrador, which will support upcoming renewables projects in the province.

Halifax-based SWEB Development is set to proceed this summer with construction of the 94.4-megawatt Weavers Mountain Wind Energy project in Nova Scotia after close of a $117.4-million loan from the Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB).
