Northland offshore wind earnings fall
Northland Power’s (NPI-T) offshore wind adjusted EBITDA fell 11 per cent to $96 million in Q2 as lower wind resources weighed on operating results. The company said offshore wind electricity production decreased four per cent compared with Q2 2025.
Capstone Infrastructure reports $15.3M Q2 net loss
Toronto-based renewable energy developer Capstone Infrastructure Corporation (CSE-PR-A-T) reported a net loss of $15.3 million in Q2, compared to a loss of $5.6 million a year prior. Revenue for the quarter was virtually unchanged year-over-year at $60.5 million.
Tidewater Renewables Q2 net income falls to $5.1M
Calgary-based Tidewater Renewables Ltd. (LCFS-T) reported Q2 net income of $5.1 million, a drop of $7.9 million compared to Q2 2025. Revenue for the quarter was $160.6 million, compared to $73.6 million a year earlier.
Brookfield, La Caisse complete Boralex acquisition
Brookfield and La Caisse have completed their previously announced acquisition of Quebec-based renewable energy company Boralex (BLX-T). Boralex said the purchaser acquired all issued and outstanding class-A common shares of Boralex for $37.25 per share in cash.

Green Impact Partners Inc. (GIP-X) has completed the previously announced share purchase agreement for the sale of its subsidiary, Green Impact Operating Corp. The subsidiary owned and operated GIP's water, waste treatment and recycling facilities in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
