Google cuts NYC facilities emissions in half six years early
Google has reduced its 2011 greenhouse emission levels from office facilities in New York City 54% ahead of the original goal. In 2013, Google became a member of the NYC Carbon Challenge and pledged to reduce building-based greenhouse gas emissions 30% by 2023.
‘Abundant’ raw sewage an energy source for aquatic centre
Raw sewage — flowing through a massive trunk line running under Riverside Drive — is being heralded as an untapped energy source for the Windsor International Aquatic Centre. The pilot project is expected to reduce the $270,000 annual energy costs by at least $150,000.

TC Energy buys half of solar power project output

A $200-million Danish-Canadian solar power project in Alberta is headed for construction following an agreement that TC Energy Corp. will buy over half its electricity output. The project will add to the 450 MW of electricity TC currently operates and markets.
Companies partner for Bay of Fundy tidal energy project
