H2O Innovation Inc. has acquired Virginia-based NextEra Distributed Water in a carve-out transaction, adding its sustainable wastewater treatment and reuse projects to the Quebec City-based company’s water treatment technology umbrella.

Toronto-based renewable fuels project developer Woodland Biofuels Inc. has unveiled plans for a US$1.35-billion investment into a carbon-negative renewable natural gas (RNG) and green hydrogen facility in Southeast Louisiana.
