Electra Battery Materials Corporation (ELBM-X) has announced it signed a three-year supply agreement with Luxembourg miner Eurasian Resources Group that will provide the cobalt needed to meet annual capacity for its Temiskaming Shores, Ont. refinery.
Electra Battery Materials Corporation states it has completed the first plant-scale black mass recycling at its facility north of Toronto, recovering nickel, cobalt and manganese, needed for the electric vehicle (EV) battery supply chain.
