Canada Green Building Council

The Canada Green Building Council (CAGBC) champions green buildings in Canada by providing the services, training, and products need to design, construct and operate better buildings. Through access to the globally recognized LEED® rating system, and our made-in-Canada Zero Carbon Building Standards, we help the building sector eliminate environmental impacts, increase asset value, and deliver on healthier, efficient, and resilient buildings. CAGBC also works with industry to advocate for the policies and programs that will accelerate the adoption zero carbon buildings. Our research demonstrates that green buildings are an effective tool for decisive climate action and can help grow Canada’s economy by creating jobs and driving innovation. By working collaboratively industry and government stakeholders, together we can build our way forward to a more sustainable future.
