Northland Power Inc. (NPI-T) has begun commercial operations of its Oneida Energy Storage Project in Jarvis, Ont., which the Toronto-based power producer says is the largest battery energy storage facility operating in Canada.
St. John’s-based Triple Point Resources Ltd. is proposing development of clean energy and hydrogen storage in a salt dome located in Newfoundland and Labrador, which will support upcoming renewables projects in the province.
