Enerkem Inc. has partnered with Leiden, Netherlands-based Dimeta to initiate feasibility studies for the development of two large scale projects to convert waste into renewable and recycled carbon dimethyl ether (DME), a clean-burning fuel for use in numerous applications.
Varennes Carbon Recycling (VCR) has selected Cummins Inc. to supply a 90-megawatt electrolyzer for its planned Quebec facility, which will produce biofuels from non-recyclable waste and residual biomass.
