Rock Tech gets special EU designation for lithium converter
The European Union has designated Toronto-based Rock Tech Lithium‘s (RCK-X) lithium converter in Germany as a strategic project under the EU’s Critical Raw Materials Act. The Guben converter is expected to produce 24,000 tons of battery-grade lithium hydroxide per year.
SolarBank to develop 7.2 MW project in New York
Toronto-based SolarBank (SUUN-Q) plans to develop a 7.2-megawatt DC ground-mount solar power project known as the Hoadley Hill Rd. project on a site in upstate New York. Once completed, it will be operated as a community solar project.

Ecolomondo secures amendments to EDC loan agreements
Ecolomondo (ECM-X) has reached an agreement in principle to amend certain terms under its loan agreements with Export Development Canada (EDC). The original loan of $32.5 million was used to finance construction of Ecolomondo’s thermal decomposition facility in Hawkesbury, Ont.
Tidewater Renewables reports Q4 and 2024 results
Tidewater Renewables (LCFS-T) has announced financial results for Q4 2024 and the year ended Dec. 31, 2024. For the year, it reported revenue of $426,544, compared to $97,679 in 2023. Quarterly revenue was $76,442.
Quebec relaunches EV rebate program
Quebec’s Roulez Vert rebate program for zero-emission passenger vehicles will resume on April 1 after a two-month pause. Under the revived program, EV buyers will receive up to $4,000 when purchasing a battery-electric or fuel-cell vehicle.
