CURA, a Vancouver-based startup co-founded by some of Canada’s climate tech leaders, is championing a technology that it says can dramatically slash the carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions of cement production.
GUEST SUBMISSION: The production of Portland cement creates roughly seven per cent of global carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, which is unsurprising when you realize for each pound of cement produced, nearly a pound of CO2 is emitted.
