Jolt gets $194M loan from CIB to ramp up EV chargers in Canada

A $194-million loan from the Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB) to Jolt will support up to 1,500 new electric vehicle (EV) chargers across Canada, helping the Australia-based company meet its goal of having up to 5,000 by 2043.

Halifax-based SWEB Development is set to proceed this summer with construction of the 94.4-megawatt Weavers Mountain Wind Energy project in Nova Scotia after close of a $117.4-million loan from the Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB).
