UPDATED WITH INTERVIEW: Construction on Canada’s largest energy storage facility, a 250MW project near Nanticoke, Ont., is set to begin after the Oneida Energy Storage LP announced today it has executed an agreement with Ontario's Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO).

Enel North America, the subsidiary of Italian energy giant Enel Group, nearly doubled its Ontario energy storage capacity in 2022, and plans to add more as part of a multi-billion-dollar North American expansion.
